Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of bereavement.  May God sustain you at this time of such great loss.   It is very important to cherish the many happy memories that your family has shared together and to celebrate a life well lived.  We don't know what to say.  We can't understand exactly how you feel, but God does and will keep raising you up.  We hope that our prayers will help a  little.  Here is a wonderful thought from the scriptures.  One reads like this.  "  He will swallow up death forever.  And the Sovereign Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces."  Isaiah 25;8

Jack and I went to high school together and we were good friends then and after. I lost track of him but have fond memories of our friendship. Rest in peace, Jack. 

I never knew him as Bruce, I knew him as Jack.  Jack was a very cool man.  I remember when I worked at Westlake Hardware he would come in with his 2 sheep dogs, neither on a leash, the dogs would scatter throughout the store and once he had checked out he would whistle quietly and they would immediately come running.  To my surprise, when I started working full time at a church he came in there as well with his dogs.  I had no idea he was involved with my Church.  Jack had a house and then an apartment filled with very cool modern furniture and trinkets.  I did not know he had passed and am sad to hear he did.  I hope his dogs are with him somewhere.
