He was born on October 6, 1962 in Independence to Chester (Chet) Thomson and Marlene Thomson.
He was a graduate of Raytown High school and went on to have a career as a dedicated union member of IUPAT DC 3, local 820 for over 30 years. During which he was able to go to incredible locations such as the Pentagon, Guantanamo Bay, the Chiefs stadium and beyond.
Above all, Bryan was a devoted family man.
Bryan found joy in hunting, camping, float trips, and anything with a motor. He was even a drummer in a band! He had a gift for making others laugh. Those who knew him will remember his sense of humor.
He is survived by his love, Cassidy Boswell, Mother Marlene Thomson, sister Roxanne Squire (Harold), son, Steve Leshovsky, daughter Stephanie Thomson (Bryan) and granddaughter, Neveda Amos.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chester (Chet) Thomson and his sister, Teresa Newman.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes contributions to help with funeral expenses.
Bryan’s legacy lives on in his family, the lessons he taught, the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed.
