Camilla “Louise” Overtveldt Vogl entered Eternal Life on January 27, 2021 in Leawood, Kansas. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 25th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. preceded by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131. The Committal Service will take place at the National Cemetery at Leavenworth at 1:30 p.m., 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Thomas More Parish. The Mass will be livestreamed on the McGilley State Line Facebook page.
Camilla was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 19, 1925 to parents Peter and Katherine (Nye) Overtveldt. Camilla was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years John, sister Leona (Raymond) Roberson, sister Elvera (William) Vogl, son-in-law Butch Geringer. She is survived by son John (JoAnne) of Westminster, Colorado, and daughter Suzann Geringer of Kansas City, Missouri, brother-in-law Robert (Rosemary) Vogl, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and many dear nieces and nephews.
