Carol Fiorella

She was born on May 12, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of George and Helena (Kotzias) Smith, Jr.

Carol had many passions. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, arts and crafts and sewing. She had many talents. She worked as a Patient Coordinator for the Kansas City Women's Clinic for 32 years, retiring in 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, William States.

Carol is survived by her husband of 60 years, Sam Fiorella, daughter, Lisa Fiorella of Kansas City, Missouri, son, Chris Fiorella and wife, Anita of Fort Myers, Florida, daughter, Samantha States and husband, John of Columbia, Missouri, grandchildren, Alec Fiorella, Lindsey States, Matthew States, brother, Terry Smith and wife, Teresa.

A celebration visitation for Carol will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Mt Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 am and then a catered reception will occur at 12:00 pm.
