Carol Ann and I were best friends in elementary and middle school.  The McKissaks lived across the street from us.  We rode to and from school together every day and frequently did homework together.  After high school, My parents moved away and I went off to school, so we lost contact.  She will always be one of my fondest memories.  I'm so sorry for your loss.

Bill, sorry for your loss.  I remember that you spoke of Carol and your kids happily with me during breaks and lunch as to what was currently happening in the family.  You and your family are in my thoughts.  Rogann, Rusty, Amelia, and Mitchell Wood (Aquarium 1970 - 2004)

My deepest sympathy to Carol's family. Carol and I worked together for approximately 40 years. During that time I grew to love her kind and compassionate spirit for all of God's creations especially her cats. She always had a sweet smile and a kind word to share. I will miss her.

My condolences to Carol's family.  I started as a student in the Harris lab the same year that Carol started working in the lab.  She was always so helpful to students and always had a smile on her face.  We worked in same lab for many years.   She was a wonderful, sweet person that I feel fortunate to have known.  May she rest in peace.

My mother, Mary Jean Black, worked with Carol for over 20 years in the Harris lab and considered Carol a wonderful friend.  As a family, we will never forget all the kindnesses, car rides and friendship that Carol offered our mother.  Our deepest sympathies for your loss.  Susan Black Warren
