Carol Ruth Jennings, 64, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014. Carol was born April 4, 1950, the daughter of John and Alma Jennings. Carol was a wonderful artist who loved to paint, draw and use her imagination. Carol was a faithful member of the Gospel Assembly Church and loved those she worshipped with. She loved her family and serving others. Carol was loved by her and family and friends and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include: three sisters, Zettie Shults (Marvin), Joyce Jennings and Evelyn Howser (Leroy); one brother, Tommy Jennings (Imogene); “adopted sister”, Joreeta Long (Ralph) several generations of nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be August 29, 2014 from 10 until service time at 11:30 am at the Gospel Assembly Church at 9600 E. 47th St, KC, MO. Burial will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
