Clara G. Leake, 86, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014. Friends may call at 8:00 a.m. until service time at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 13, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kanas City, MO.
Clara was born September 13, 1927 in Kansas City, MO to George C. Hamm and Gladys Theoboldt. She had worked for Kansas City Power & Light Company where she met Keith Leake, her husband of 60 years. Later in life she was an avid homemaker who enjoyed baking, crocheting, sewing, ceramics and planting flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Marian Lane. Survivors include her husband Keith, two sons Alan and Paul, two nieces Kathy and Suzie, as well as several great-nieces and nephews.
