Clarence retired from the Gas Service Co. after 38 years, and he served honorably in the National Guard. Clarence loved his Chiefs Football and Royals Baseball, and also camping, fishing, and hunting.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Jo Ann of 65 years; his children, Terry and Don Eyre, Debby and Rick Moore, Shirley and Tim Myers, and Sharon, Kim, and Olen Johnson; his siblings, Barbara Taber, Carol Brown, Libby Longacre, Forest French and Bruce French; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
The family wishes to express a special ‘Thank You’ to Serenity Hospice Care in Harrisonville for their loving care and support during Clarence’s final days. The family would also like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Floral Hills Funeral Home for being accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM Thursday, August 8, 2019, with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM, at Floral Hills Funeral Home.
