Betty Sims called to let us know of Cora's death.  We relayed the information to Mom. She was sorry to hear of it and we will be making a contribution to the Heart Association. Our condolences, The Family of Vivian Peterson...your neighbor of 50 years.

Aunt Cora Leah was a special lady loved by everyone.  Uncle Johnny, my thoughts and prayers are for you and the family.  May God give you peace and comfort.  Love you much!

As a "kid", growing up I thought that I was named after Aunt Cora 'Lee',
(that's the only way I knew how to spell  "Lee" back then).  anyway, that's why Aunt Cora Leah became so special to me.   She may have been small in stature, but she was a 'giant in character'.

Our second Mom- Aunt Cora was such a good role model and so much fun to be around! Never heard her say anything bad about anyone. She would say " They are just being ugly!" We'll miss her a lot. Prayers for strength for the whole family at this difficult time.I know she is happy in Heaven reuniting with her other kids she hasn't seen for a while and talking and giggling with my Mom

Grandma West I'm so sorry that I couldn't visit more. I'm sorry that I can't be there now. Just kniw kniw your in my thoughts & in my heart.  I will miss you and your sun baked tea & pickles.  I remember being at your house as a kid when your boys built the deck in the back of the house and me & my dad tried building a go cart. And on that visit me & my little brothers would sneak a glass of that tea right off the deck & you'd pretend to get mad but then would joke around with us.  I love you grandma.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Cora. She was a beautiful lady and will be greatly missed. The family reunions at her house were really memorable. We always had a great time. God got an angel there. Love to Uncle John and all the family.

Randy & Kristi Woods are sorry to hear of Cora's passing .She was a wonderful neighbor to us for many years & shared her amazing vegetables from her garden with us many times. She had a great personality that made us laugh ,she had a strong & vibrant energy to her that we admired and enjoyed when we spent time around her.We are sending our prayers & warmest sympathy  to her Husband and all of her family at this time of deep sorrow loss, she will be deeply missed .God be with her family at this time & watch over them all through this time of grief.

Aunt Cora you were loved by many and will be missed by many. Thinking back of the memories that I have with you and all I can do is smile because that's all I can remember is the conversations I have had with you and the laughs that we shared. I have never forgotten the dresses you made for me when I was in elementary school, I was so proud of them. Uncle John, and to all her children and family, I love you all and my prayers are with you.
