Curtis Roy Jeffery, 87 of Kansas City, MO passed away on May 27, 2025. Born on January 21, 1938 to Robert E. and Jewell M. (Owens) Jeffery in Osceola, AR. Curtis married Ida Lee Jeffery on November 18, 1961 and now they are together again in heaven. Curtis was an avid train enthusiast and there weren't many people who were like him because he was a lifelong learner. Curtis worked at Ford Motor Company as well as the United States Postal Service from which he retired. Curtis served in the Army National Guard for three years. He was a longtime member of Red Bridge Church of Christ. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ida Jeffery; a daughter, Stacey Jeffery; a brother, Opal Owens; a sister, Frieda Jeffery; and many more family members. Survivors include his sister Laura Fay Jordan of Lee Summit, MO; a brother, Forest O. Jeffery of Odessa MO; and extended family and close friends.
Services for Curtis will begin at 9 AM on Monday June 2, 2025 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Following the Burial at 10 AM at Floral Hills Cemetery.
