She was born on August 28th, 1925, in Lamar, Missouri, the daughter of Robert Frederick Falls and Rosie Pearl Pritchett Falls, and had one brother, Norvel Clarence Falls, and four sisters, Myda Norine Falls Kelton, Kathryn Maxine Falls Scott, Lyda Lorene Falls Davis, and Jenna Lee Falls Reese, all have preceded her in death.
As a young woman, Daisy met the love of her life and was happily married to Robert Dwaine Reese for 36 years prior to his death in 1978. They lived in the Kansas City area and had one son, Roger Dwaine Reese who was Daisy’s world until her death. While raising her family, she was active in the school system and loved being a homemaker along with helping in the family business Reese & Son Construction. She later worked as the parts manager at Fast Food Equipment Sales. Daisy attended church regularly and worshiped at several places during the course of her life. She enjoyed watching the KC Royals and was an avid KC Chiefs fan. A true joy in Daisy’s life were her grandchildren, Rhett Dwaine Reese, deceased, and Robin Lee Reese Lockard of Thornton, CO. Daisy treasured traveling with her grand-children and being actively involved with their daily lives.
At the age of 90, Daisy was blessed with a namesake, a great-granddaughter, Daisy Lee Lockard, of Thornton, CO, and they were truly two kindred spirits with a special bond. Diana Dinsmore, Roger’s life partner, and Chris Lockard, grand-son-in-law completed Daisy’s immediate family. She was preceded in death by her second husband Frank Lang. Daisy was adored by many nieces, nephews, and friends because of her special way to listen and make all feel like family. She will be missed.
The family requests donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
