David Ray Priddy passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 35 at University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque NM. David was born September 23, 1990 in Maryville MO to Jeff and Corine Priddy, making him the 5th generation living. He was a free spirit who lived life on his own terms. In his early years, he was very invested in sports and played in a competitive basketball league and football league. David was a huge nature lover and loved to camp and fish as much as he could. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his little cousins. David had a good sense of humor and liked to joke with others and make people laugh. He didn't worry about little things and would often tell others to "think happy thoughts". He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ray and Karen Weisenberger and great grandparents. David is survived by his parents, Jeff and Corine Priddy, sister, Katelynn Priddy and paternal grandparents, David and Judy Priddy as well as several beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd Kansas City, MO 64133 on Saturday, March 28th at 1:00pm. David's family asks any memorial contributions be made to the American Red Cross or Community Blood Center of Greater Kansas City.
