Donald Dwayne Grubb

Donald Dwayne Grubb, a beloved resident of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on November 28, 1960, Donald was known for his adventurous spirit and hard-working nature. He was a loyal and caring individual, deeply cherished by his family and friends.

Donald lived in Kansas City for most of his life, where he made a lasting impact on those around him. He was a long-time driver for HIT Trucking, where his dedication and thoughtfulness were highly valued.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Harold Grubb, and his grandparents. Donald is survived by his mother, Joan A. Grubb, three brothers, a sister, many aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and a multitude of close friends who will miss him dearly.

Outside of his professional life, Don had a passion for motorcycles, camping, hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. He was also actively involved in the community through FORR-Freedom of the Road Riders, where he shared his love for the open road with others.

Don would want everyone to appreciate life, and his memory will continue to inspire those who knew him to embrace each day with the same adventurous and caring spirit that he embodied.

A Celebration of Life will be held noon-4:00p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Donald's residence, 5810 NW Lakeview Dr., Kansas City, MO 64118.
