Don received a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
Don and his wife Pat lived in the Kansas City area for 35 years. They had a brief move across the country to Vancouver, Washington where they lived for 5 years before, returning to Kansas City and retiring from Lucent Technologies.
Don was a retired Chief Master Sergeant with 28 years-service in the United States Air Force. He and his wife lived in the State of Florida for the last 15 years.
He enjoyed bass fishing, traveling, gardening, reading and video game Wii Bowling, and of course the KC Chiefs football team. He loved life and the great outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Reynolds with over 63 years of marriage; his son, Mark Reynolds of Kansas City; his daughter, Connie Samla; and son-in-law Jerry Samla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris Reynolds and Jewell Reynolds; and his grandson Sean Reynolds.
A visitation will be held at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, located at 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO, 64131, on October 21, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
A committal service will follow at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, also located at 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO, 64131, on October 21, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
