A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd, KCMO 64119. Burial will follow in St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Riverside, MO.
Dorothy was born in Kansas City, MO to Walter and Nellie (Fraher) Klamm on December 2, 1934. She went to school at Boydston Elementary School and graduated from NKC High School. She married Richard “Dick” Scurlock on May 6, 1967. They spent 50 years together until his passing in 2018. She worked for Cook Paint Co. in North Kansas City before retiring to raise her family.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Clarence, John, Jimmy, and Walter; and sister, Helen. She leaves behind her sons, Jeff and Tim (Katie) of Kansas City; brother, Phil; sister, Martha; and grandchildren, Maureen, Annie, Billy and Danny.
