Douglas Chapman, 47, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011. He was born January 12, 1964 in Kansas City, MO to Donald and Antoinette Chapman. Douglas graduated from O’Hara High School in 1982 and Rockhurst College in 1987 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Doug was employed as a CPA for the U.S.D.A. He married Katherine Groh, September 29, 2000.
Doug is survived by his wife, Katherine; step-son, William; parents, Donald and Antoinette; brothers, David L. Chapman (Mary) and Donald M. Chapman; nephews, Mark and Caleb Chapman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 1st, 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO, with burial following in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. followed by the visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Craig Hospital, 3425 S. Clarkson St., Englewood, CO 80113 or The Wounded Warrior Project.
