Doug Price, 60, Kansas City, MO, passed away September 15, 2010 at home. Funeral services will be 4:30 PM Sunday September 19, 2010 at McGilley Antioch Chapel with a visitation from 1:30 to 4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics, 5280 Foxridge Dr., Mission, KS 66202 or the National Kidney Foundation, 6405 Metcalf Ave., Suite 204 Overland Park, KS 66202. Doug was born in Blue Island, IL. He was a graduate of Drake University. He was a lifelong grain and commodities trader and a former Nebraska and Minnesota farm owner. Doug was a revered Special Olympics coach and an avid sports enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Price.
