EARL LEE POTTER Earl Lee Potter, 86, of Independence, MO, passed away May 16, 2015. Funeral 2PM Wednesday, May 20, at Floral Hills, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO. Visitation at 1PM. Burial at Floral Hills. Earl was born July 24, 1928, to Warren and Lula Potter in Nash, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Jet HS and Oklahoma State University. Earl was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church. He retired from the KC Water Dept. Earl enjoyed reading, watching sports, especially the Royals, and making others laugh. Earl was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Laquita Mae Potter. He is survived by his daughters Donna Cheaqui, Anita Allison (Rob), Sherri Smith (Marty), Terri Potter; brothers James Potter (Betty) and Keith Potter, sister Lou Ann Hayes; grandchildren William (Jamie), Amy, Renee, Michaela, Logan, and Carli.
