Edgar Wayne Dodd (ED) 76, passed away July 26, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Eleanora Dodd, his brother, Lloyd Dodd, sister, Carleta Yeager, and 3 sons (& spouses): Sherman E. Dodd (Katherine), Dale W. Dodd (Barbara), and Roger L. Dodd. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He joins his: father, mother, a sister, and a granddaughter precede him. Edgar served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Later he wore many hats including: HS teacher, archeologist at the Smithsonian Institute, Head Park Ranger in the National Park Service, and retired as sales representative for a utility equipment company. Services will be held Saturday July 30, 2011, visitation at 12:30PM funeral services at 2:00 P.M. held at McGilley Antioch Chapel; 3325 NE Vivon Rd.; Kansas City, MO 46119. Graveside service will be at Second Creek Cemetery, 4214 N.W. Cookingham Road, Kansas City, MO 64164.
