Edward F. Cosmillo, 81, of Olathe, KS, passed away on October 27, 2018. He was born in Buffalo, NY but spent most of his life in the greater Kansas City area. He worked in various sales positions for most of his career and umpired in his spare time until he semi-retired. He enjoyed going to church and reading the scriptures, fishing and camping.
He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 60 years, Virginia Cosmillo, his children, Lisa Cosmillo, Renee Maassen, and Tony Cosmillo as well as eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Lena Cosmillo, sisters Carol Lee and Millie Abadie, and brother Fred Jr.
Memorial Service 10-11 am Friday, November 23 at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
