

Liz was born February 1, 1948, in Kansas City to Katherine (née McDormott) and Albert Habiger. She attended Hogan Catholic High School. Liz married Don Tattershall on January 29, 1972 at St. Peter’s Church in Kansas City.
She was a voracious reader and also loved movies and TV. She practiced photography all her life and enjoyed traveling and visiting new places and learning about other cultures. Cruises were her favorite, but she also loved visiting the National Parks and iconic landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge. She also loved to collect U.S. and National Park quarters.
Liz adored her family and enjoyed serving her community. She volunteered at St. Bernadette as a Sunday School teacher for two years and also served meals and school lunches for the underprivileged as part of the Council of Catholic Women.
She is survived by siblings Richard and Al; husband Don Tattershall; children David, Mark, and Angela; and grandchild Noah, as well as lifelong best friend Cheryl Martin (née Miller).
A visitation will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, located at 9020 E. 51st Terrace, Kansas City, Missouri, 64133, on August 25, 2025, at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. The committal service will take place at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri, 64138.
Elizabeth's favorite flowers included pink-tinged yellow roses, lily of the valley, tulips, birds of paradise, and lady slipper orchids.
