Eveyln was born on July 27, 1927, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Claude and Olga Stockton, and later made her home in Leawood, Kansas.
After graduating from high school, Eveyln moved to Kansas City and began work with Liberty Mutual Life Insurance. Over a career spanning more than 40 years, she advanced to office manager, serving with steady dedication and the kind of thoughtful regard for others that left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside her. She retired in the early 2000s.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 13 at 2:00pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO, 64131. A committal service will follow at 3:00pm in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the Kansas City Hospice House and her dedicated caregivers, Beth, Chrissy, Kennedy, and Ellie, for their years of compassionate service. Eveyln will be remembered with gratitude and respect, and for the quiet inspiration of a life marked by enduring kindness.
