Frances K. Phillips, 88, of Overland Park, KS, passed away January 19, 2012 at St. Joseph Medical Center. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 24, at Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Rd, Prairie Village, KS. Interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Village Presbyterian Church or The MS Society. Frances was born on January 16th, 1924 in Garden City, MO, daughter of E. Ray and Edith Edmonds Kircher. She graduated from Harrisonville High School in 1942. She attended Research Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1945 as a Registered Surgical Nurse. Frances married Oliver Gooch Phillips, Jr., March 6th, 1948, he survives of the home. She was a member of PEO-Chapter GY, Order of Eastern Star 491 and since 1950 a member of Village Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter Dena K. Phillips. She is also survived by daughters Sandra Callahan (Carlis J.) and Debbie Smith (Larry); grandchildren Jim and Renee Callahan, Michael Callahan, Jason and Lindsey Smith, Mandy and James Weihe; and great-grandchild Isabel Callahan.
