A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with a time for sharing memories at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO 64119.
Gary was born in Kansas City, MO to James Ellis Elliott, Sr. and Pauline Augusta (Hopen) Elliott on February 13, 1950. He graduated from Oak Park High School in 1968. He married Vickie Chandler on July 1, 1978. They shared almost 44 years together until his passing.
Gary worked in Transportation Logistics for T.W.A./American Airlines in Kansas City for over 27 years. Gary always kept busy doing general contracting and remodeling projects. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and mechanic. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and by everyone else as a kind, hard-working and generous man.
Gary is preceded in death by both of his parents and his many beloved dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Elliott; sons, Chad and Clint (Sara) Elliott, Sr.; grandchildren, Clinton Elliott, Jr. and Stella Elliott; brother, James (Pat) Elliott, Jr.; and his beloved puppy, Elsa.
Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
