George was CEO of The Salvajor Company, a family business founded by his father in 1944 and in its 3rd generation of successful operation in Kansas City, Missouri. George attended Pembroke Hill School and completed his formal education at the University of Kansas and to his death remained a most loyal Jayhawk supporter. He continued his family’s tradition as Chiefs and Royals season ticket holders with great pride. George was an avid supporter of The Dinner Theater and Kaufman Center for Performing arts where he enjoyed the POP series. Throughout his life he was a member of Indian Hills Country Club in Mission Hills and had treasured memories of time with his family at the Lake of the Ozarks and Lake Winnebago, Missouri, commenting always “where does the time go”. George continually expressed his sincere appreciation for the support of the loyal Salvajor family. Without their dedication and professionalism the business would not be the success it is today. George was always ready for the next pot luck luncheon. George was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 42 years, Carol S. Hohl and father-in-law Robert Arbuckle. George is survived by his sister Judy Hohl (Dr. ML Remley), mother-in-law Bunny Arbuckle, brother-in-law Bob Arbuckle (Carol) and three sons; Chris (Carrie) Hohl, Gregg (Lauron) Hohl, and Matt (Gina) Hohl; three grandchildren; Madison, Gavin, Ruby Hohl; best friend Eileen Baker, her children Jeff (Maria) Brown, Jill (Mike) Konen and three grandchildren.
