Gloria Marie (Martindale) O’Donnell 93 passed away peacefully on January 13, 2017. The angels took her to join her husband, John J. O’Donnell, her son Timothy O’Donnell and his daughter Kelly O’Donnell. Gloria is survived by her children Carol O’Donnell, Mike and wife Beverly O’Donnell, and Tom and wife Jeannette O’Donnell, ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Gloria was born January 13, 1923 to James and Margaret Martindale. She was united in marriage for 72 years to John J. O’Donnell on August 29, 1942 in Dixon, Missouri at Little Flower Church.
She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother whose life centered on her family and her deep devotion to her Catholic Faith.
Visitation will be 9:30am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15am on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Cure of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Road, Leawood, Kansas 66206. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Villa Saint Francis, 16600 W. 126th Street, Olathe, Kansas 66062.
She will be greatly missed.
