Guadalupe G. Infante

Guadalupe G Infante completed her pilgrimage on earth Monday, May 30, 2011 being called by our Heavenly Father to be in full communion with all the angels, saints, and souls. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 3 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11300 W. 103rd Street, Overland Park , KS. Burial will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be 6 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 2 at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Rd., Kansas City, MO. Rosary will be at 6. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to American Stroke Foundation or Catholic Charities.

Guadalupe was born on November 25, 1932 in Colima, Mexico to Jose and Maria Gil Villanueva. After marrying her love Henry, who was always at her side, she moved to Kansas City. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose life revolved around her family. She was active at QHR , and a member of Holy Cross, Holy Spirit, and Nativity through the years. Her interests were tennis, sewing, card games, and KU basketball. Her faith and devotion to our Blessed Mother was always central to her life. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. She always helped others and put love into all she did. Her spirit will live on as she will be watching over her beloved husband of 44 years Henry, daughter Anette and husband Kevin, son Alejandro and wife Susan, and daughter Cecilia and husband Jeff. Her legacy will live on in her precious grandchildren Andrew and AnnMarie Growney, Isabella, Alejandra, and Olivia Infante, Jake, Josh, and Joselito Bethel. She is also survived by siblings Tere in California and Esperanza, Isidro, Mago, and Nena in Mexico.
