Harold Eugene Zimmerman

Gene shared 65 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Pat. Together they built a life centered around family, faith, love, and commitment.

He was a devoted daddy to his son, Ron and wife Darla, daughter, Rochelle and husband Kerry. Gene was also a proud Papa to Tabor, Chels, Bailey, Tate, Heidi, Taney, and Christian, who brought him great joy.

He is also survived by his sister, Pam Schmiedeler (Stephen), brother Ron Taylor (Carol), and sister Beth Ann Dowell.

Gene will be remembered for his steady presence, kindness, and the love he had for his family. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the family who will continue to carry his memory forward.

Memorial service will be at 12:00 pm Friday, March 13, 2026 at New Beginnings Church, 214 NE Chipman Road, Lees Summit MO 64063. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that loved ones honor his memory by spending time with family and cherishing the moments that matter most.
