He was born on Feb. 14, 1948 in Kansas City, MO. Many knew him from West Jr. and Westport High School. Henry met and married Carolyn (Tinoco) Delgado, and they raised their son and daughter in KCKS before divorcing in 1992.
Henry was employed by BPU for 29 years before his retirement. He enjoyed 16 years of retirement, golfing with his buddies and going to the casinos.
A new chapter in his life included his companion, Debbie Waddell, who preceded him in death in 2018.
Also preceding him in death were his parents, Henry Sr. and Eloise (Velasquez) Delgado; a son, Henry Delgado, III; and a brother, Joseph (Nancy) Delgado. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Rachelle Armenta and her mother, Carolyn; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also missing him will be Debbie’s family; his brother, Thomas (Barbara); 3 sisters, Josie Delgado, Lucy (Antonio) Carrera, Mary (Michael) Carrera; nephews, nieces, and friends; all desiring that he rests in peace.
