Jack served his country with honor during World War II as a member of the United States Navy. After returning from the war, he embarked on a long and fulfilling career. He married his beloved wife, Delora June "Toni," on April 7, 1967. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
For many years, Jack worked as a truck driver for Manna Pro, delivering grain to farmers across Kansas, Texas, Missouri, and Nebraska. After his retirement, he continued to serve his community, working at O'Reilly's Auto Parts from age 70 until he was 90 years old. His dedication and work ethic were admired by many, and he made lasting friendships along the way.
A faithful member of Sterling Acres Baptist Church, Jack was deeply committed to his faith and his church family. He found joy in service and fellowship, and his legacy of kindness and generosity lives on in all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Delora June “Toni” Turpin; son, John Wesley Turpin; daughter, Debi Turpin Stewart; step-daughter, Debbie Eubank; and step-son, Steven Eubank.
