

She was preceded in death by the following: Her Parents, Siblings: Delores Floyd, Josephine Gunn, Joe Nathan Roberts, Charles Roberts: Daughter Virginia Hayes and Grandson Jamonte Canty.
Ida was married in 1946 to the love of her life Mr. Norris Hayes, Sr who also preceded her in death (1971). They were blessed with 9 children. Ida was a strong, loving, caring and stern Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother. She loved her family and always provided a safe, clean and loving home.
Ida truly believed in the Word of the Lord that, 'He will never leave nor forsake you'. She raised her children to Love and Respect the Lord. Ida was a chaste Woman of God, who kept her Children in Prayer and her house in order.
Ida always had a spiritual journey with the Lord which led her to become a member of Blue Valley Missionary Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and was committed to her walk with him. On August 30, 2021 Ida answered the Lord's call and transitioned from this Earthly Body to her Heavenly Body. She departed in the comfort of her own bed in her home, while her son (Donald) held her hand as she crossed over.
She leaves to cherish her memory her Children; Martha Bolin, John Hayes, Brenda Shaw, Norris Hayes, Jr., Donald(Wanda),Linda Hayes-McDonald(Melvin), Robert (Vanessa), Larry(Aleta). 17 Grand-children, 36 Great Grand-children, 3 Great Great Grand-children, a host of Nieces, Nephews and other loved relatives friends and neighbors.
