Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he was the son of Anna and Ivan Van Dyke. He spent livelihood employed in the egg business as an executive and later owning his own company.
He is surviving by two daughters, Vicki Paczesny (Dale) and Sandy Van Wijk (Evert), two grandsons, Michael Paczesny, and Mathew Paczesny (Ashley), two granddaughters, Kathryn Meuschke (Brett) and Kristen Flanders (Jimmy), five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Van Dyke, and his wife, Donna. Family and friends will miss him.
Jack's Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 18th, from 1pm - 3pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home, with a Graveside to follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Garden. Both are located at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.
Memorial donations/ in lieu of flowers may be made to the Raytown Shepard Center, specifically Meals on Wheels.
