

Jackie Dale (Jack) Eiserer passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan 2, 2017, at the Veteran’s Home in Warrensburg, MO. Jack was born July 9, 1932, in Carrollton, MO, of parents Albert Herman and Millie Mae Eiserer. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold; and a daughter, Jennifer Selp. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Eiserer, of Raytown, MO; two sons: Steven and Michael Eiserer (Shirley); step-daughter, Jennifer Johnson; grandchildren: Chase, Alexandrana, Samantha, Elizabeth and Kirsten. Jack leaves a sister-in-law, Doris; and a nephew, Dwight (Mary Kay), and their sons, Kyle (Erika) Christopher (Nadine); and an aunt, Dorothy. Jack enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in Jan. of 1951, and was stationed in Weisbaden, Germany for three years during the Korean War. Jack’s passion was Music. Because of his wonderful voice he was chosen to sing at the Officers Clubs and enjoyed his greatest achievement of singing at the Weisbaden Opera House. Jack’s favorite Tenor was Luciano Pavarotti and he learned to sing several Arias in Italian by listening to him. He was a member of the Raytown Community Choir and the Kansas City Metro Mens Chorus for many years. Jack was known for singing his favorite Irish song, Danny Boy. Services will be held Wednesday, January 18, at the Blue Ridge Boulevard Methodist Church located at 5055 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO, 64133. Visitation will begin at1:00pm with services starting at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be directed to Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090.
