Dear Debbie and Eddie, I just found out the heartbreaking news and want to express my deepest sympathy.  Although I only met Jim once, he was just such a nice and kind person and made me feel right at home in your home.  This is such a tragic loss, it is incomprehensible.  Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and I pray that God watch over you in this difficult time.

Debbie and Eddie, I am very sorry. Jim was a wonderful person and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. It was a long journey from a "really cool sales rep" to one of my dearest and most loyal friends but that is how it works I guess. Things will not be the same without him but I am confident that we are all better people having known him. He was one of a kind for sure. Hang in there and be strong. You have many people who really care.

Jimi was my good friend. We logged many hours and days on the road, and Jimi always made sure the trip was more than just business. Knowing I was a train enthusiast, he once took me on a tour of the sprawling North Platte Rail Yard - a truly memorable experience. I will remember his wry wit, his passion for music, and his outstanding professionalism. Needless to say, he often spoke of his beloved Eddie, of whom he was exceedingly proud.  
Jimi was respected, admired and loved by all who knew him, and for me it is difficult to say good-bye.  Jimi was one of a kind, and I will miss him as long as I live.

I am so sorry for the loss of Jim.  Even though I worked with him occasionally, he was always a great guy to see and enjoy conversation and a smile with.  He will certainly be missed by all who knew him.

Debbie and Eddie, I can't say enough good things about Jim. He was not only a collegue but someone who I could call a true friend. Always generous and easy going with a wonderful spirit of adventure, whether it was a quick visit to the Omaha Zoo due to a cancelled appointment or heading off to something better than a fast food meal at the end of a hard days work. I'll miss hearing has voice and sharing his favorite Gerry Rafferty songs on those longs days criss-crossing the territory. One of the best in the business is now at peace. We'll not see his like again.

Jim will certainly be missed.  .  While I knew Jim as a partner in the industry, I can imagine that he was a wonderful father and husband.  He had the character of a great man.  A consummate professional, I remember him as a soft spoken, passionate and intelligent man with a comforting smile.  I am sure there are many people who will remember Jim the same way.

I am so saddened to hear of Jim's passing.  He was a gentle man and a true gentleman of our industry as well.  At trade show meetings, he was always one of the first to extend his hand, show that great smile of his, and ask about
business.....and he meant it sincerely.  I recall meeting he and Eddie quite

I have known Jim for just over 20 years and I can say without reservation that Jim was a rare talent to the electronics trades who he supported. Everytime we talked or met for dinner he mentioned his family and always had great things to say (I'm not sure I ever heard Jim say a negative thing about anyone!).  He was especially proud of Eddie, which became a regular part of our conversations over the years.  His eyes would light up and he always had this huge smile anytime Eddie's name was mentioned.  The last time I saw Jim was at Eddie's new home a few days after moving in.  He was thrilled to have his son back in KC and had a great smile across his face that I will miss seeing.  Eddie, I told Jim that I would help on the house anytime something came up, please feel free to call me anytime you need something or even just want to get out of the house for a night. After reading the many messages posted I felt like I didn't say enough.  As friends when we had the opportunity to talk we would talk about our families first and foremost, then on to our professional lives.  He was in love with his wife and Eddie you made him very proud. Jim was one of the most likable people I ever met.  Genuine, Kind, Loving, Generous.  He will be missed.

I first met Jim when he worked for G W Ryan and I was representing products to them. Jim and I hit it off and even played tennis together. Years later as one of my peers in the rep business, Jim was one of the people I always looked to as standing out in his relationships with dealers, vendors and fellow reps. I will miss seeing him calling on our dealers.

I am sad to learn of Jim's passing.  We worked together a few times during his career and I will remember Jim as a man of good character.  My thoughts to his family and close friends.

Eddie and Debbie,  I am  so sorry to here about your loss.  Jim was a fun and interesting person to know.  I saw him last fourth of July and I could see how proud he was of you Eddie. I first met JIm when we worked together at Video Masters.  We bonded instantly with our love of all things music.  After VMI we both became reps and would touch base occasionally but not not often enough.  I am shocked and saddened to hear of his passing.  He will be missed  by many. We have know Jim for nearly two decades through business.  He was one of the nicest people I have ever met.  Always pleasant, knowledgable and quietly upbeat. I am so sorry this happened.  Jim met with me at the store just last Thursday.  He was always helpful and quick to respond when a question or problem arose.  I have known him for the last 26 years and it is hard to think that he will no longer be calling on us. We will miss him.
