JAMES HAROLD KUHNS James H. Kuhns, 82 passed away April 25, 2015 in Warrensburg, MO. James was born May 21, 1932 in Iowa the son of Jesse H. and Violet M. (Bond) Kuhns. He graduated from Creston, Iowa High School in May 1951. He served his country in the United States Air Force as Master Sgt. He worked in Personnel and finally as Air Traffic Control Superintended obtaining the rank of M/Sgt and was selected for Senior M/Sgt just prior to retirement. James served at 9 separate bases in the U.S. and two overseas tours, one in the Canal Zone and the other in Vietnam. He received several service ribbons and one outstanding unit plus two Air force Commendations medals. James last duty station was Richards Gebaur AFB., MO. He married Angelene Mae Carson on December 25, 1951. Survivors include his wife Angelene Kuhns; three sons Mickey, Rickey and Timothy Kuhns and wife Doris; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
