Norm was the son of Jesse F. Piker and Edwina H. Piker.
Norm was born in Kansas City, Missouri and was a lifelong resident of Independence. He attended Truman High School and a short time later started working for Matt Ford in Buckner, Missouri and continued working there for 25 plus years. During his time at Matt Ford he was promoted to Service manager and won multiple Medallion Manager Awards in recognition for outstanding achievement in service management and customer satisfaction.
Norm was blessed with the ability to make people laugh with his contagious smile and jokes. Norm had a passion for attending swap & shops as well as his love for music, fishing with family members, cooking and sharing it with others, and working on cars.
Norm is survived by his sister Pamela J. Epps and husband Bud of Independence, Missouri, son Christopher M. Piker of Independence Missouri, daughter Jennifer R. June and husband Rob of Basehor Kansas, and grandson Alex June.
Norm will be buried Monday, April 6, 2026 at Floral Hills Cemetery 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd Kansas City Missouri 64133.
