Jamie Glenn Burnam, 49, whose life was cut short October 24, 2022 in Excelsior Springs, MO, was also known as “Bub” to his family. Born July 20, 1973 in Wichita KS to parents Glenn L Burnam and Judith A Burnam, Jamie has resided in Wichita KS, Little Rock AR, Oklahoma City, OK before moving to Kansas City Mo in 2001.
Jamie loved and was loved by his family, was generous and giving, and would do anything for family members and friends. He was a hard worker with a strong work ethic. Jamie's main interest was music; he played electric, acoustic, and bass guitar, and drums. One of his favorite things was jamming with family and friends. He also liked tinkering with his truck and was proud when he did a major repair by himself. He loved driving his jet boat and water skiing behind it, while visiting lakes with family and friends. His dad, his brother and he were a team, always lending a helping hand to each other making repairs or improvements to home or vehicle. Recently Jamie became interested in woodworking and had a couple new projects lined up. After arriving in Kansas City, Jamie became an avid Chiefs Fan. He adored his daughters and his Beagle Pup Boudreaux. Jamie Burnam was a remarkable person.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Dovelle Kriegel, daughter Kaydence, of Excelsior Springs, daughter Bayley Nading, mother Judy Burnam, of Kansas City MO, brother Daryl (Shelly) Burnam, nephew Darion, niece Sierra, all of Independence MO, nephews Dustin and Michael of Oklahoma City, OK, brother Evan Boling, nieces Isobel and Emily of Reston VA. and his dog, Boudreaux. Uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and co-workers mourn Jamie’s untimely death. Jamie was preceded in death by his father Glenn Burnam, brothers Kevin and Brent.
A Memorial Gathering for Family and Friends is scheduled from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, December 2, 2022 at the McGilley Antioch Chapel.
