She was born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 2, 1931,
to the late Henry Mannbeck and Inez (Pollard) Mannbeck.
She married James Miller on June 7, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri.
He proceeded her in death on November 21, 1994.
She is survived by her children: Susan Miller, Independence,
Philip & Rena Miller, Tipp City, OH, and Maggie Miller, Blue Springs.
Along with 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Miller, siblings Ronald Mannbeck,
Donald Mannbeck and Emma Lee (Mannbeck) Moore.
Janice grew up in rural Nebraska and moved to Missouri at age 16.
She was an avid reader and was a member of her Highschool Newspaper.
She loved watching basketball in high school and was always cheering for the KU Jayhawks. Janice enjoyed traveling with her husband and continued throughout her life.
Janice loved to sew, and she crafted Christmas Stockings for every member of the family.
All her children, children’s spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren have
one-of-a-kind Christmas stockings that were a token of her love.
She was very appreciative of the life she was able to live.
