Janice was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, she attended Southwest High School and Kansas State University. Except for a decade living in Florida and South Carolina while raising her young sons, she was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City Area.
Sharp and organized, she worked as an executive secretary at several local firms during her career. Jan was an accomplished piano player and a graceful and enthusiastic dancer. She loved her family and never forgot a birthday among her growing brood of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She adored her dogs as well and doted on a succession of small furry friends in her later years.
She is survived by her sons, Ken and Mark, four granddaughters, and two great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of her Life is being planned at a future date.
