Jimmie M. DeVaul, 69, of Grandview, Missouri, passed away September 11, 2012 at Research Hospital. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 14, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Chapel, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice. Mr. DeVaul was born March 7, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri, son of Ralph W. and Aileen (Swaithes) DeVaul. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving his country during the Vietnam War on the U.S.S. Kittyhawk. He retired after 34 years as a millwright for Union Wire Rope and then worked for Lake City Armory.
