John William “Billy Boy” Kruse II passed away in his sleep Sunday, 2/23/2025. He was born 9/4/1959 to Marjorie Jean Mason Kruse and John Wayne Kruse. As the oldest of five, he learned to take care of and care for others at an early age.
He was a longtime resident of KC South and graduated from Southwest High School in 1979. He was a hard worker and worked for various employers including Metro Body Shop, AA Bindery, various lumber companies and ended his service of work with All American Contracting.
He went by various names; Billy Boy, Bill, John and to all of those in the following generations, Uncle Bill.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Anna Kruse, his 2 chosen sons Samual Morgan (wife Reena) and John Craig (wife Jessica), his chosen daughter Jessica Pewitt (husband Kevin), four siblings Lloyd Kruse, Doreen Alewell, LeAnne Kruse, Toni Kruse, a nephew and multiple nieces, chosen grandchildren, great nieces and great nephews.
He touched the life of everyone he met and cared about. He is sorely missed by all.
Services will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday March 15.
Visitation will be at 9am followed by the funeral service at 10am.
