Joseph Albert Bulk, 89, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Independence Boulevard Christian Church at 606 Gladstone, KCMO with burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery at 10507 Holmes Rd. Visitation will be Monday, December 16 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel, 11924 E. 47th St, KCMO. Mr. Bulk was born November 7, 1924 in Sioux City, IA. He spent 34 years working for T.W.A. as a mechanic. He was a Shriner and also a member of the Blue Lodge. He was a WW II veteran serving in the Army Air Corp and was stationed in Belgium. While stationed there he met the love of his life, Ginette. They raised two children, Joe, Jr., who preceded him in death, and their daughter, Cindy Abernathy. He also leaves his wife, Ginette, of 67 years, four grandchildren, Brian, Regina, Jesse, and Wyatt. Contributions can be made to the Northcare Hospice.
