JOSEPH C. “JOE” ROOS, JR. Joseph C. Roos, Jr., 92, passed away April 20, 2015. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, April 24, 2015 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 25 at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ with burial following in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to the American Alzheimer’s Assoc. Joe was a lifelong area resident. He was an Army veteran of WWII. Joe worked for the Dysart Dental Lab in K.C. for 35 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the KC Swiss Society. Joe was preceded in death by a his parents; a brother, Oscar H. Roos and a sister, Frieda Warnken. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Juanita; three sons, Joseph C Roos, III, Gerald R. Roos and Paul E. Roos; two granddaughters and one great granddaughter.
