Kathleen Boucher Hoffman, age 71, passed away July 3, 2018 after her battle with ALS. She was born to Claude and Nancy Boucher July 11, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri. Kathy graduated from North Kansas City High School and attended Avila School of Nursing. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Joe and Michael. She is survived by her sisters Barbara Campbell and Jeanie Weaver, husband Ken Hoffman, daughters Andrea Chavez and Lisa Fitt, son Kyle Hoffman, grandchildren Madison, Caleb, Lexi and Hunter Chavez, Ghia and Ganton Rothlisberger and one great grandchild.
Kathy was a loving mother and wife who was a care-giver throughout her life. She was very involved in all of the children with their school, friends, hobbies and sports, and she loved yard work, the beach and dancing.
A private family service will be held on Monday, July 9. A visitation for all family and friends will be from 1:00pm-3:00pm on Monday, July 9 at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64145. In respect to how she lived her life, we encourage non-formal and colorful attire.
