Kimberley R. Klein, 55, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Kim was born April 12, 1959, in Kansas City, MO. She was a 1977 graduate of Shawnee Mission South High School and received her Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of Kansas. Kim spent her career in the telecommunications field. She enjoyed traveling abroad and throughout the United States, and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks. Kim lived in Dallas, TX for 13 years but moved back to Leawood because she really enjoyed spending time spoiling her niece, Madison and nephew, Klein.
Kim is survived by her parents, Robert and Norma Klein of Sedalia, Missouri (previously of Overland Park, KS); a sister, Kris (Mike) McGraw of Leawood, KS; niece, Madison McGraw and nephew, Klein McGraw of Leawood, KS.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 20th, at McGilley State Line Chapel, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, June 21st, 3:00 p.m., at Smithton Cemetery, Smithton, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House or to the American Cancer Society.
