

LaToya Renee Brown was born April 3, 1981 in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Ronald Brown Sr. and Earline Brown. Her father Ronald Brown Sr., sister Monica C. Brown, and grandmother Earline Fields has preceded her in death.
LaToya accepted Christ at an early age, and she attended Victory Outreach Church under the leadership and guidance of Pastor Dan Tynch (Mary). LaToya was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri public schools, later attend Job Crops and colleges in Kansas City, Missouri and Overland Park, KS. She worked as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) at Edgewood Manor Health Care Center and in the medical field over 20 years.
LaToya was compassionately known to family and friends as ToyToy and Toya. She had a heart full of gold and shown compassion to everyone. She had a beautiful uplifting spirit, with a gorgeous smile that lit up the room, bringing warmth to everyone around her. She was beautiful inside and out. She was humble and strong-willed with a loving personality. She was full of adventure, outgoing and energetic. She loved helping others. She lived her life blissfully and enjoyed every moment of it. She always loved planning family gatherings, outings, and trips. She spent most of her time with her four children, the love of her life. She was the greatest daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will always forever be loved and deeply missed by those lives she touched.
LaToya leaves the cherish memories: her four loving children JoJuania Lawrence 24, Diamond Brown 20 (Mitchell), Jeremy Woods 14, and Jaden Woods 7; mother Earline Brown; six sisters Darlene Brown (Larry), Ronella Brown, Brenda Brown-Nguyen (Eric), Mary Brown, Ronda Brown, Paula Swinton; five brothers Ronald Brown Jr, Robert Brown, Nathaniel Brown, Daniel Brown, Michael Brown; former husband Jeremy Woods and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
