Lawrence O. Ellis, 94, Kansas City, Missouri passed away April 4, 2017. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes. Graveside will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Lawrence was born December 26, 1922 in High Point, Missouri. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents Oran and Sarah, sister Martha and brother Clarence. Lawrence is survived by his wife Carole, five children, Sherry, Elizabeth, Rick, Jim and Kathy, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings Bernice, Lee, Letha and Mildred, extended family and friends.
