Leeor was a kind, polite, sensitive soul. He found it hard to be in big crowds, but was the world’s best, most perceptive gift-giver on the internet. He was a member of Country Club Christian Church, was very interested and curious about God and heaven and was eager to discuss implications for his own life. Leeor was an organ donor.
Leeor loved his family and made it a point to keep in touch with everyone by phone or social media. He loved rock climbing, snow skiing and shooting fireworks. He loved travel, road trips, Christmas, a Christmas tree, and birthdays (his own and everyone else’s).
He attended Blue Valley North High School, outdoor schools in Utah, earned his GED and was working on his AA degree from Penn Foster College in its online Veterinary Technician program. He had a voracious appetite, did all his own cooking (Mexican, cheese pizza, burritos (beans and cheese only), mac and cheese, frozen blueberries and ice creams, and ate very little meat. Whatever he cooked always had ghost pepper salsa and crushed red pepper in it.
Leeor is survived by his mother, Cheryl; his identical twin brother, Avi Arms; and his brother Shaylan Ben-Hanania, all of Rancho Cordova, CA. He is also survived by his grandparents, Richard and Carol Arms, of the home; and Stephanie Tretola and Darren Watson, Kansas City, KS. He is also survived by his uncle, Joseph Ben-Hanania-Lenz (Keith) of Austin, AR and many extended family members. Leeor was preceded in death by his father, David Arms, and his maternal grandfather, Steve Ben-Hanania.
Special thanks to Dr. Jeremy Burd for his conscientious care of Leeor, special family friends Gordon and Cheryl Lormor, for always being available to Leeor, and to Leslie Carapella (Aunt Led) for her constant encouragement.
