From  taking me to Star Wars movies, my 1st concert, & sharing tells and woes of age while eating chocolate pie! I love you Uncle Les and never forgotten!! You are off on your next adventure. And I'll see you again when I take mine!

Blessing to you Michelle, and all the family, at this time of sadness.  I've posted Lester's obituary on facebook, and THANK YOU so much for keeping us all updated during his illness and passing.

When I think about Lester, I think about laughing with him, usually at his funny take on things.  Not ridiculing people: what I remember is that he'd make a comment that made us realize how ridiculous a situation was (usually a situation we'd gotten OURSELVES into).

He also had a couple one-liners I still remember, which he'd drop when he came back from the bathroom (which probably says something about what teenage boys find funny): "That's a load off my mind," and "I didn't know I had it in me."  Potty humor that didn't even use potty words: that was CLEVER-funny.

I was so glad to see him at our 50th reunion.  We ended up talking to each other more than we talked to anyone else there.  We had a lot of intervening years to fill in: but we picked up right where we'd left off,  same as where we'd left off.   It felt like friends are never really apart.
