

Lillian Rose Kamuf, 86, Kansas City, passed away at her home on January 25, 2015, surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday Jan. 30 at 11:00 AM at St Gabriel Catholic Church, 4737 N Cleveland, Kansas City, with burial to follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery. A visitation will take place on Thursday Jan. 29 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City.
Lillian was born May 31, 1928 to Joseph and Clara Domnanish in Princeton, KS, where she graduated from High School in 1946 as Valedictorian of her class. In the fall of that year, she moved to Kansas City to work at Hallmark Cards. In 1953, she met Richard Kamuf at a Catholic Youth Organization function. The two were married on July 25, 1953.
Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Richard, brothers Joseph, Jr., Edward and Eugene Domnanish, and sisters, Gladys Smith and Emma Brook. She is survived by her sons, Richard, Jr., William, Francis and John; daughters Anna Alvarado, and Rose (Mark Lee) Kamuf; three grandchildren, Alex Alvarado, Nick Alvarado and Janice (Devin) Reynolds; and one great-grandchild, April Elizabeth Reynolds.
